Details are the most important thing. In work, in studies, in food, in movies, in books, in nature, in life. All about the details.
Sometimes we are so busy with ourselves that we never ever stop to appreciate it. We run and run to some goal that we think is the most important thing in the world and never stop to look at the beauty of details. They always say if you want to get to know a person, ask them the question of
"where you see yourself in 5 years?"
but what about, if we would appreciate the details of life and ask
"where you were 5 years ago?"
Actions say more than words. People can talk about their plans, goals, dreams they want to achieve and never actually do it and work for it. The better way how to get to know a person is to see how much they have grown in the last 5 years. What have they done to be in the place they are right now? Have they fulfilled their dreams they were talking about 5 years earlier? Have they achieved even more? If they made mistakes, did they learn from it? What was the most important lesson that you have learned in those 5 years? If you could say something to yourself, sitting on a chair 5 years ago - what would it be?
Sometimes we don't need to look so much into the future and have these big goals that we want to fill in and then we get scared that maybe we cannot achieve that, we live in this circle of disbelief in ourselves that our goals are set too high or we don't have enough energy to fight for it. Sometimes better to look back at our life, see what are the things that we have been through and what we learned from that. Are you now in a position that you were dreaming of - is it what you expected, is it better than you wanted, is it worse than you were dreaming of? Have you met your expectations?
Take a look back at your life. And see that things right now are not that bad. And imagine - there are better times ahead.
